The role of the Wichita Christian School Board is to set policy for WCS. The board hires the superintendent to handle the day-to-day tasks so that the board can remain focused on long range goals, financial stability and governance issues that allow the school to operate as efficiently as possible.
Wichita Christian School is an independent school and receives no support other than what tuition is charged and what individual donors and foundations are motivated to give. We are dedicated to responsibly using the financial gifts that God has blessed us with.
Our vision is to see students graduate from WCS and become successful in college, the workplace, military assignments and in their families and relationships.
Our prayer is that our students honor God and Jesus Christ for the rest of their lives, no matter what path their life takes. The WCS board is committed to maintaining strong educational programs, first-class facilities and an administration and staff that works to help our students succeed.
